GEOTEST EXPRESS Rock triaxial test system

ASTM D7012, D7070 and D5084

Description

The GEOTEST EXPRESS is an advanced and streamlined rock compression testing system engineered for performing triaxial compression tests under both static and dynamic conditions. Equipped with a state-of-the-art servo controller and automated testing software, the system can execute a complete triaxial test cycle—from initialization to completion—including multi-stage testing procedures.  Each unit can be custom-configured to meet specific requirements, offering a wide range of load and pressure capacities, temperature limits, specimen sizes, and frame stiffness levels, ensuring a tailored solution for every user. The system incorporates a high-stiffness box-type load frame designed to withstand the significant forces exerted on the structure during testing. A servo-controlled hydraulic actuator ensures rapid and precise piston movement, delivering high loading capacity and smooth operation in displacement, strain, stress, or load control modes. The triaxial cell assembly includes an automatic locking mechanism and an integrated hydraulic lift, allowing for fast, effortless specimen installation. The cell opens and closes automatically at the push of a button, eliminating the need for bolts or nuts to secure it. This innovation significantly reduces setup time, effectively doubling the number of tests that can be completed in a single day compared to conventional systems.
